Sophie - Pictures: 1
This is Sophie an 18 month old white & black female cat. Although very loving she will not tolerate other cats & is best suited to a home with no young children.
Leo - Pictures: 1
A routine visit to the vet turned into a rescue for animal lover Abigail. The 10 year old who was with her Dad at Abbey Vet in Immingham discovered, with the help of Harry the family Labrador, a carrier bag left outside the entrance with a small black & white kitten inside. Abigail alerted the vet whilst her Dad held on to the kitten. Abbey Vet took the kitten into their care & after giving him a thorough check up they contacted Second Chance Cat Rescue in Keelby to take him in.
“He’s too young to go to a new home yet” explains Elaine from Second Chance “he has been placed with one of our foster families until he is ready to go to his new home,” And who better to look after him than Abigail & her family who volunteer for Second Chance. Abigail was delighted to be reunited with the kitten who she has named Leo due to his feisty nature. “He will make someone a great pet he is so funny & bosses our cats & dog around even though he is very tiny” she laughs. “Leo truly is a “Second Chance” cat!”
Can you give Leo the loving home he craves?
Oscar & Treacle - Pictures: 3
Oscar [Tabby] & Treacle [Tortie] are brother & sister & are 12 weeks old. They are 2 loving kittens & need to be homed together.
Floss - Pictures: 3
This is Floss a loving 10 year old neutered female tabby cat. She is a bit timid but would welcome a quiet home with no children or other cats. She would make a loving companion.
Jaffa - Pictures: 1
This is Jaffa our rescued & now, resident 'I don't want to find a new home' cat.
He got upset when we took him off the website so we have put him back on again.
He is not for re-homing he just likes everyone to see what a gorgeous ???? ginger cat he is.
Kittens - Pictures: 1
We have 7 kittens needing loving homes. 3 have been reserved but the other 4 are available to families without young children.
Please contact our helpline 01469 561000 for further details.
Laddie - Pictures: 2
Laddie:
Laddie has now been with us for several weeks and has changed from a timid scruffy cat to a very handsome
and friendly fluff-ball. He doesn't appear to mind other cats but doesn't like dogs.He is neutered and fully vaccinated
and eagerly awaiting a loving new home.
Oliver - Pictures: 1
Oliver:
Oliver has also been with us for a few weeks. He is very friendly but can get over excited when playing so would
probably be better in a home with no young children and as an only cat.
Fluffy - Pictures: 2
Fluffy:
Fluffy arrived at the rescue as a stray in very poor condition. However he is now beginning to look much more like the "upperclass" cat he should be. Unfortunately he does have a cataract on his right eye but the vet assures us it will not cause him any problem other than slightly less vision in that eye. He is very friendly and will make someone a very loving companion. He has however refused to reveal his age to us yet so we will just describe him as an "adult"!
Ruth - Pictures: 2
Ruth:
Presently our youngest cat on the cat walk! She is approx 10 months old and once she gets to know someone she
is very affectionate. She doesn't like other cats or dogs though. She likes to play and is now getting bored in her "bedsit"
so if you can offer her a loving new home she would be pleased to hear from you.
